Mouth watering Gajar Ka Halwa recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg carrots peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar, or slightly less
- 1/2 cup (100 gram) khoya roughly mashed
- 2 tbsp desi ghee
- Seeds of 2 green cardamom(choti elaichi)powdered
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts like almonds or cashews
- 1 tbsp raisins (kishmish)
- Mix grated carrots, sugar and milk in a big deep bowl. Microwave covered for 10 minutes.
- Add ghee and khoya. Mix well. Microwave uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Add cardamom and chopped nuts. Serve hot decorated with nuts.
