No.1 Chocolate Cake recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs 
  • 1 cup (125 gram) powdered sugar 
  • 1 cup flour (maida )
  •  1 cup coca 
  • 3/4 level tsp baking powder 
  • a pinch of baking soda(meetha soda)
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
Note: for a plain cake, remove cocoa and add 1/2 cup cornflour instead


Method
  • Sieve flour, Cocoa, baking powder and meetha soda together. 
  • Beat sugar and eggs very well together (with an electric beater). And essence. 
  • Add oil gradually beating mixture likely.
  • Fold in a flour a little at a time, with the wooden spoon, till the flour is used. 
  • Transfer to a greased bowl of 6 diameter. Microwave for 5 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes in the microwave. 
  • It cool for 5-10 minutes. Remove to a serving platter. Pour chocolate sauce on it and decorate with walnut halves.

Lonar Lake: why it turned into pink?

Lonar lake also known as lonar crater, is a notified National Geo-heritage monument located in Buldhana district, Maharashtra. It was created by an asteroid collision with earth impact during the pleistocene E-poch. The water in the lake is both saline and alkaline. The lake was first mentioned in ancient scriptures such as the skanda purana and the Padma purana. The Ain-i-akbari, a document written about 1600 CE. The first European to visit the lake was a British officer, J.E. Alexander in 1823. Lonar lake has a mean diameter of 1.2 millimeters. The lake is a heaven for a wide range of plants and animal life. Meteorite-like object fall from sky in Rajasthan, leaves residents confound. On the morning of 19th June 2020, meteorite-like object weighing around 2.78 kilogram fall from the sky on Friday morning in Sanchore town in Jalore district of Rajasthan. The object fall with such force and heat that it resulted in the formation of one-foot deep pit in the ground.
